Progen Scientific is continuing the promotion of new products from FinePCR with the launch of a new range of orbital and reciprocal shakers
Progen Scientific has been appointed as the UK distributor for FinePCR, a Korean based manufacturer of laboratory equipment for the life sciences.
Through steady growth FinePCR produce high quality devices developed by patented mechanisms are currently supplying to the life science research community in more than 30 countries worldwide.
The FinePCR range includes five models; two orbital shakers, two microplate mixers and one reciprocal shaker.
Each model is outlined below.
FinePCR SH30 (analogue) / SH30t (digital display) Orbital Shakers.
For use with a wide variety of large capacity platforms there is a choice of SH30 analogue control or SH30t with digital display models.
The models feature variable speed control between and smooth and powerful orbital motion at low speeds and continuous or timed operation.
The models are suitable for use in incubators up to 65C (dry air), offer standard elastic ties for easy fitting of flasks and conical tubes and a non-slip mat as standard; optional dimpled mat prevents tubes from rolling around.
FinePCR SH30L (analogue) / SH30L-t (digital display) Reciprocal Shakers.
Also for use with a wide variety of large capacity platforms these shakers provide a smooth reciprocating motion (side to side).
There is a choice of SH30L analogue control or SH30L-t with digital display models.
Both models feature variable speed control.
Smooth and powerful reciprocal motion at low speeds, continuous or timed operation and are suitable for use in incubators up to 65C (dry air).
FinePCR Microplate Mixers/ FinePCR Mx2 Microplate Mixer for two microplates.
These mixers are compact models with vibration and small orbit for effective mixing.
Both offer Smooth vibrating motion with 3mm orbit and vibration motion continuously adjustable up to 2000rpm.
With analogue control.
Continuous or timed operation, standard platform for 2 microplates and simple spring holders for easy and speedy plate installation.
FinePCR Mx4 Microplate Mixer for four microplates.
With a choice of the Mx4 analogue controlled model or the Mx4t with digital tachometer these models feature a mixer with vibration and small orbit for effective mixing and smooth vibrating motion with 3mm orbit.
The vibration motion continuously adjustable from 300 to 1400rpm and the operation can be continuous or timed.
There is a standard platform for four microplates and an optional rack for 1.5ml.

FinePCR SH2000 Multi-functional Orbital Mixer.
The FinePCR SH2000 is a compact mixer with a variety of accessories.
It features variable speed between 0 to 2000rpm, continuous or timed operation, a maximum capacity of 64 x 1.5ml.
Eppendorf tubes and 5 different tube racks and two mini-shaking platforms, including conical tube and microplate.
