The latest spin-off of the international trade fair Analytica focuses on products and innovations in the fields of analysis, laboratory technology, biotechnology and quality control
The international trade fair for analysis, biotechnology, diagnostics, laboratory technology and services with Analytica Vietnam Conference will celebrate its premiere at the Hanoi International Center for Exhibition (ICE Hanoi) in Vietnam from 18-20 March 2009.
Analytica Vietnam is the first exhibition of its kind to serve as a platform for the rapidly growing Vietnamese analysis industry.
Founded by the Munich Trade Fairs International and its subsidiary Imag (International Fair and Exhibition Service) together with the National Centre for Scientific and Technological Information (Nacesti), Analytica Vietnam is the third foreign spin-off of Analytica: besides Analytica in Munich, there is the new Analytica Vietnam in Hanoi, Analytica China in Shanghai and Analytica Anacon India in Hyderabad.
All four fairs are held every two years.
Hans-Joachim Heusler, managing director at the Munich Trade Fairs International Group, explains the strategic move: "This is the right time for Analytica in Vietnam.
"The analysis industry in this country is experiencing double-digit growth.
"However, there is no exhibition there that focuses on the sector for laboratory equipment, analysis and biotechnology.
"Vietnam recently established its own production facilities in the analysis and biotechnology sector, so the industry urgently needs a platform of this kind.
"The Vietnamese sector for trade fairs and exhibitions is just beginning to take shape.
"As a result, the Munich Trade Fairs International Group is playing a pioneering role with Analytica Vietnam and gaining a foothold in a country that is experiencing enormous growth and is on the verge of establishing itself as an economic power."
