BioTek Instruments has launched a new BioStack Microplate Stacker with rotational wrist.
The scalable stacker is designed to provide enhanced flexibility, customisable automation and broad compatibility in microplate-based applications.
It offers self-diagnostics, rugged design and quiet operation with an optional barcode scanner.
The rotational wrist accommodates instrument carriers with both landscape and portrait orientations, enabling the instrument's keypad and display to remain conveniently positioned for impaired access.
The feature also provides greater compatibility with BioTek's microplate washers, dispensers, pipetting systems and detection systems as well as third-party microplate instruments.
In addition, 50-microplate storage stacks or the originally designed 30-microplate stacks may be selected to accommodate individual throughput needs.
