The Institute of Clinical Research (ICR) and Scientific Archivists Group (SAG) have teamed up to hold a meeting focusing on the area of archiving.
The meeting entitled 'Archiving: From Chaos to Compliance' will take place at the ICR's headquarters in Bourne End, Buckinghamshire, on 27 November 2008.
It is aimed at clinical professionals who have taken up an archivist's position or are thinking of moving into the area.
'Archiving: From Chaos to Compliance' will provide an overview of the role of a clinical archivist.
It will feature presentations from sector specialists on commercial and investigator issues, demonstrating the need for documentation and auditing and discussing best practices and methodology.
