Fortis Technologies has announced the launch of its 2.5um particle for use in liquid chromatography.
Fortis 2.5um particles are manufactured from a pure silica template.
The company said the particles are designed to be the next step in improving resolution and speed.
2.5um particles allow the analyst to move towards ultra-high pressure chromatography performance while operating on traditional 400 bar liquid chromatography systems.
Combined with the Fortis Technologies's Pace column design or ultra-high pressure chromatography hardware, 2.5um particles offer speed and efficiency without compromising loadability and scalability.
Fortis C18 stationary phase allows the ability to operate from pH 1-12.
Initially available as C18 chemistry the range will be expanded to include the company's other bonding technologies allowing the analyst the ability to separate complex mixtures by selectivity as well as efficiency.
