Lec Medical offers a range of CO2 incubators for laboratories, designed to provide temperature stability, fast recovery time and resistance to contamination for research and testing applications.
The CO2 range includes the LICO2 and LICO2S incubators, which use carbon dioxide to stimulate the environment required in a laboratory to culture and grow cells.
Both have a 190-litre capacity and the LICO2S has a 200C hot air sterilisation cycle.
All incubators feature a heating system with high-performance insulation to ensure optimum temperature control and stability within +/-0.1C.
They also feature an inner glass door, which allows users a clear view of the contents without disturbing the internal atmosphere and an outer door has a magnetic gasket.
The energy efficient incubators have been designed to be corrosion and contamination resistant.
They are made from stainless steel and feature radius corners for easy cleaning.
Each has a one-piece chamber and is finished with anti-bacterial biocide paint on the outside.
To further reduce any risk of contamination, the incubators do not feature fans.
Each incubator features a user-friendly multi-function PID touch screen for control of temperature, CO2 and alarm functions (including low gas and power failure), as well as providing real-time logging in graphical and text format so that staff can monitor the chamber conditions easily.
The alarms give users reassurance that the environment is correct, helping to reduce downtime.
