AbD Serotec has signed a two-year contract for the supply of custom monoclonal antibodies with Research Councils UK Shared Services Centre (RCUK SSC).

HuCAL, which stands for Human Combinatorial Antibody Library, is a collection of billions of recombinant human Fab antibodies that mimics the entire human antibody repertoire.
It is an integral part of a system that delivers highly specific antibodies for all classes of antigens, without the use of animals.
HuCAL technology was developed by Morphosys, the parent company of AbD, and is used for generating fully human antibodies for research, diagnostic and therapeutic applications.
