Completely new bench-top analyser combines the latest technological advances and a large test menu with a faster throughput
As a result of a burgeoning research and development programme, ABX Diagnostics will launch three significant new products in 2003 which happily coincides with ABX's '20/50 Festival Year', the celebration of ABX's 20th anniversary and the 50th anniversary of its parent company, Horiba.
The Pentra 400 will establish ABX in clinical chemistry, a field where over 15,000 of its Mira analysers have been sold to date.
A completely new bench-top analyser, the Pentra 400 combines the latest technological advances and a large test menu with a throughput which is three times faster than the Mira.
Application flexibility, an integrated validation station and the simple to use interface will make day-to-day use extremely easy.
The Pentra 400 will also have a new line of reagents and a sophisticated reagent management system.
ABX already supplies one quarter of the world's haematology analysers, and says its strength in haematology will be underlined with the introduction of a new addition to the Pentra 120 family and the Pentra 80XL.
The Pentra 80XL provides automatic customised dilution ratios for out-of-range samples and has an integrated data management system which allows real-time management of a patient's results.
