Easy to use and maintain, with no operator training required, the probes provide a perfect interface with the YSI 2700 biochemistry analyser for monitoring bioprocess systems. They can be either side or top mounted onto the vessel, and can be sterilised or autoclaved in situ.
The elimination of bypass filters ensures sterile sampling, and durable design and construction allows them to withstand the temperatures, pressures, viscosities, shear forces, and chemicals typical of fermentation environments.
The compact 2700 provides a flexible approach to automated biochemical analysis, allowing sample measurement to be carried out either off- or on-line.
For automated sampling at pre-programmed intervals, the analyser can be linked to the YSI 2730 aseptic monitoring and control system to monitor the replenishment of nutrients while continuously maintaining process sterility.
Results can be stored internally, printed or transferred to a remote computer by an analogue or RS232 link.
