Immunofixation kits, designed for paraprotein typification, form part of a comprehensive range of routine manual and automated electrophoresis reagents and equipment
Sebia's new Dynamic Mask IF technique is now available in the UK exclusively through Analytical Technologies.
The immunofixation kits, designed for paraprotein typification, form part of a comprehensive range of routine manual and automated electrophoresis reagents and equipment.
Replacing the reusable IF masks, Sebia has changed the method of antisera application by introducing disposable segments for each gel.
A smaller volume of antisera is applied to the segment and then spread across the gel, reducing the amount of antisera pipetting and providing simultaneous application of antisera to all tracks.
There is no template cleaning with the single use antisera segments and so cross contamination of tracks is eliminated and because paper combs are no longer required the risk of gel damage is reduced. The new Hydraplus autosampler pipettes the required volume of antisera into the segment as well as performing the sample dilutions and automatically pipetting the dilution into the appropriate well.
Sebia manufactures a range of IF kits for clinical diagnostic purposes, including ready to use gels and antisera.
The highly flexible Hydrasys automatic electrophoresis processor provides the ultimate workhorse for busy laboratories. Its resolution, clarity of bands and sequential processing of each electrophoresis step from application to destaining allows walk-away operation.
One, two, four, and nine immunofixations per gel can be run simultaneously within an hour.
Consistent results from gel to gel are achieved as Hydrasys automatically regulates voltage, current, power and volt hours.
Quantitative analysis of gel bands can be performed using the Sebia densitometer, also exclusively available through Analytical Technologies.
