The latest addition to its range, the AES Labelmaster, sees the introduction of automatic petri dish labelling, providing an accurate and reliable alternative to the tedious and time-consuming manual method.
The new system, which works equally well with full or empty dishes, optimises the preparation and follow-up of sample analysis and reduces mistakes due to human error.
With a capacity of 500 plates and a production rate of up to 1200 plates an hour, the speedy Labelmaster is said to be ideal for large contract laboratories processing thousands of plates a week.
Software is included for use on a stand-alone basis, but the system is also compatible with the AES APS300 pourer stacker, the AES Labmaster, and Lims.
Users may choose from the following parameters when setting up a label: sample or patient name, medium, bacteria, dilution, sample volume, batch number and bar code - turning a chore into a couple of minutes' work.
