Specifically formatted for labelling proteins or antibodies in protein array experiments, these dyes are supplied in a format that is easy and convenient with little wastage
Amersham Biosciences is introducing two new CyDye fluors specifically formatted for labelling proteins or antibodies in protein array experiments.
These new products are supplied in a format that is easier and more convenient to use than alternative products, and with less wastage.
Each CyDye kit contains two vials of protein array grade mono-reactive dye packaged in a colour-coded securitainer for ease of identification.
The kits, one containing protein array grade Cy3 mono-reactive dye, and the other Cy5, will allow researchers to perform either one colour sandwich assays or multiplexed differential analysis.
The volume of dye provided with the new kits is more appropriate for those doing protein arrays than is currently available.
The kits contain sufficient dye to label material for 20 to 80 protein array slides.
Amersham Biosciences is the only supplier of mono-reactive CyDye fluors.
"The Cy3 and Cy5 CyDye fluors are the first products developed specifically for protein arrays from Amersham Biosciences.
The introduction of the new CyDye fluor kits confirms our commitment to fluorescent labelling and the protein arrays market segments", said Alan Livingston, strategic marketing director, protein profiling, Amersham Biosciences.
