Bio-Chem Valve has introduced a robust, miniature solenoid operated pump for low-volume dispensing of high purity or aggressive fluids.
The inert series 090SP self-priming micro pump is available in the UK and Europe from Omnifit and provides OEM designers and manufacturers of scientific and medical instrumentation with a compact, reliable and economical alternative to peristaltic pumps, or pump and valve combinations. The miniature pump, measuring just 48mm by 19mm, provides repeatable dispensing with low maintenance and long life performance.
The 090SP series is factory set for discrete outputs of eight microlitres per solenoid actuation.
Capable of actuation rates of up to 250 cycles per minute, it can provide a maximum flow rate of up to 2ml per minute.
The pump provides a discrete dispense to replace pump and valve combinations, or a continuous pulsating flow to replace maintenance-intensive peristaltic pumps.
It offers a more compact, reliable, accurate and cost effective solution.
It is well suited to any precise dispense applications, including reagent dispensers, wash pumps, diluters and drain pumps.
The series 090SP features a non-metallic, inert fluid path for the dispensing of high purity or aggressive fluids.
The fluid path is available in a choice of PPS, Peek, EPDM and Teflon.
It has two 1/4 -28 flat bottom ports, with other ports available.
It features positive shut-off, a low internal volume, a fully isolated solenoid, and low power consumption.
