Air sampler targets both potential and problem areas of cross contamination to provide straightforward reliable results without the need for compensatory calculations
Ideally suited for all bacterial air sampling applications within the food, beverage and clinical environments, the IUL Spin Air sampler distributed by Biotrace International in the UK is said to be the perfect solution when highly efficient air sampling is required.
The IUL Spin Air targets both potential and problem areas of cross contamination.
It incorporates a patented air sampling system that combines a rotating plate holder beneath asymmetrically arranged air intake holes.
During operation each hole creates a sampling track on the surface of the rotating plate resulting in 100% use of the media surface and a significant reduction in overlapping multiple impingement.
This combined with steady, continuous, microprocessor controlled airflow provides straightforward reliable results without the need for compensatory calculations.
Designed for easy set up and portability, the Spin Air sampler is lightweight and comes with its own protective case.
The battery-operated unit can be connected to a slave unit so that duplicate samples can be taken in real time.
The Spin Air head can be angled allowing access to difficult sampling areas providing maximum monitoring efficiency. The interchangeable holder can take either 90mm or 60mm plates providing additional system flexibility.
Serial connection to a PC and printer is possible and an optional bar code reader is available for immediate identification of samples.
The Spin Air Sampler is supported and calibrated in the UK by the accredited service department at Biotrace Fred Baker, Biotrace International's UK sales and distribution office.
For use with the IUL Spin Air, Biotrace International manufactures pre-prepared environmental monitoring media at its state of the art UK facility that includes a 100m2 cleanroom validated to ISO 14644-1.
