Non intrusive thermal detection system enables health officials to detect persons with raised body temperature at ports, airports and other public gatherings
Barber InSys has launched a non intrusive thermal detection system to monitor passengers at ports, airports and other public gatherings, to enable health officials to detect persons with raised body temperature.
When this point is detected, health officials could request further screening or more intrusive measurements with the permission of the suspect.
The system comprises of a thermal imaging camera incorporating the latest un-cooled microbolometer technology and a data processing unit with a large colour display.
The system operator simply looks for a colour change to indicate raised body temperature and the actual temperature value is displayed.
