Thermal conductivity detectors made of stainless steel come equipped with gas connections and detector filaments, meeting original equipment specifications
Gow-Mac Instrument, a manufacturer of gas analysis instrumentation with expertise in thermal conductivity detectors (TCD), announces the availability of replacement TCDs for the Varian 3400, 3600, 3700, and 3800 gas chromatographs, and the Agilent 5890 and 6890 gas chromatographs.
Each detector meets original equipment specifications and comes ready to install in an existing Varian or Agilent GC, says Gow-Mac.
The detector is made of stainless steel and comes equipped with gas connections and detector filaments.
The TCD is supplied with four rhenium-tungsten (WX) filaments as standard, with tungsten (W), gold-sheathed tungsten (AuW), or nickel (Ni) optionally available.
Corrosion resistant detectors utilising nickel, monel, titanium or gold-plated thermal conductivity blocks are also offered.
In addition to Varian and Agilent, Gow-Mac provides replacement filaments and new replacement TCDs for other major brand name gas chromatographs on the market today, including many older instruments.
