Non-magnetic construction of nylon and glass fibre provides high strength, light weight, excellent chemical resistivity, and MRI compatibility
The Stronghold group of clamps, connectors and lattices from Harvard Apparatus are constructed of nylon with 30% glass fibre. These materials produce increased strength, reduced weight, excellent chemical resistivity and, in addition, Stronghold clamps are MRI-compatible.
All surfaces are non corroding and resistant to salts and most solvents, says Harvard.
The clamps have rotational and pivoting joints, which makes it easy to line up equipment in the most advantageous ways.
All clamps have ergonomically designed tightening mechanisms, making connections easy to establish even when working with the heaviest of laboratory equipment.
There are many new holding devices for tubing, bottles and flasks.
All products in the Stronghold line are non-magnetic and MRI-compatible.
