High specification self-contained electronic recording device measures and records changes in temperature and relative humidity and is suitable for use in confined spaces
The TRH-1000 temperature and relative humidity logger, manufactured by ACR and available in the UK from JDL, is a self-contained electronic recording device that measures and records changes in temperature and relative humidity.
Simply connected to a Windows-based computer, readings can be viewed as raw data or as graphs.
The TRH-1000 is ideal for use in confined spaces and comes with what is described as an outstanding specification.
The data logger has an operating temperature range of -40C to 70C.
Thermistor temperature sensor accuracy is to 0.6C at 25C.
CMOS relative humidity sensor range 0-100% is from -40C to 70C.
Relative humidity accuracy at +/-4% is from 20% to 80%. The logger has a memory of 64KB (32,000 data points per channel) and the resolution is 8 bits (1 part in 256).
All this is packed into 25x58x81mm at only 74grams weight.
TrendReader Express software is included.
The TRH-1000 also offers a wide variety of software selectable options.
Samples can be made at intervals ranging from eight seconds to 34 minutes.
Sampling method is user selectable, first in first out, stop when full, and delay start, spot and average sampling.
Data can also be easily exported into most spreadsheets.
In addition to being cost effective, the TRH-1000 is built to exacting standards.
Housed in a Cycoloy (GE Plastics) C120 ABS and polycarbonate case, the TRH-1000 runs off its own 3.6-volt lithium battery.
The battery comes with a five-year warranty, and the data logger itself has a one-year warranty.
"The TRH-1000 represents a breakthrough in relative humidity and temperature data logging, with accuracy, and sampling options that often sell for two or three times as much.
"This combination of features and pricing makes it ideal for the price-conscious customer", says JDL.
The TRH-1000 is intended for applications in building comfort monitoring, food process verification, pharmaceutical and laboratory storage monitoring, transportation monitoring, energy management, HVAC system testing and balancing, and other areas.
