Combination of a proprietary on-axis spectrograph with a coherent fibre bundle probe allows for high quality, high spectral resolution Raman imaging in a compact package
The Jobin Yvon Raman division, winners of the 2002 Pittcon Gold Award for the LabRam-IR - the combined Raman/FT-IR microscope - announces the introduction of what it says is the world's first portable Raman imaging system - Prism.
The combination of a proprietary on-axis spectrograph with a coherent fibre bundle based Raman probe allows for high quality, high spectral resolution Raman imaging in a compact package.
The Prism technology provides for fast hyper-spectral imaging which is ideal for in-vivo Raman imaging for medical imaging applications (eg surgery, dermatology etc) and other demanding applications including HTS.
The Prism technology can also be used in process Raman applications to monitor a large number of reaction control points simultaneously.
