Immersion cooler combines benefits of previous models and rationalises into one state-of-the-art unit designed to be used in conjunction with any stirred or circulating water bath
The Clifton range of temperature control equipment from Nickel-Electro now includes a new immersion cooler.
The DC1-300 immersion cooler is an important breakthrough, because it combines all the benefits of the two previous Nickel-Electro models and rationalises them into one state-of-the-art unit.
The new DC1-300 has an operating range of between 20C and -20C, and is designed to be used in conjunction with any stirred or circulating water bath.
This space saving bench top model features a flexible 900mm long stainless steel pipe with a protective outer shield, and the 65mm diameter stainless steel cooling coil has the obvious benefit of being corrosion resistant.
The DC1-300 replaces wasteful use of cold water cooling, uses CFC-free gas and is quiet in operation.
Melvin Dickson, managing director of Nickel-Electro, says: "We are very pleased with the new DC1-300 immersion cooler.
We wanted to develop a single unit which took the best of our previous models, and we're delighted that we've achieved it."
