Award scheme for beer quality and brewery hygiene, open to individuals, companies and organisations worldwide, is now accepting entries
Oxoid announces that its Oxoid Awards for Beer Quality and Brewery Hygiene 2003/2004, organised in conjunction with the Institute and Guild of Brewing (IGB), are now open for entry.
The first prize winner will receive œ1000 sterling (approximately 1400 euro) plus a trophy, second and third prize winners will receive framed certificates of merit.
The awards are open to individuals, companies and organisations worldwide.
This year's winners wereas follows.
First place - Alison Aitchison, Scottish Courage.
Second place -Philip May, Adnams. Third place - Martin Barry, Salopian Brewery.
The closing date for entries is 28 February 2004, but don't leave it to the last minute.
