Half day session in June 2004 will address the science of radiometry and photometry and the applications of integrating spheres in optical radiation measurements
Pro-Lite Technology will be holding a technical tutorial in conjunction with Labsphere.
The tutorial will address the science of radiometry and photometry and the applications of integrating spheres in optical radiation measurements.
The half day tutorial will be held on Wednesday June 23 2004 at the Cranfield Innovation Centre, Cranfield University, near Milton Keynes, UK. The speaker is Angelo Arecchi, formerly technical director of Labsphere and an acclaimed optical engineer.
Attendance is free of charge but delegates are requested to pre-register with Pro-Lite.
Arecchi will speak on the theory and application of diffuse reflectance materials, provide an overview of radiometry and photometry, and present integrating sphere theory and design considerations.
The applications of integrating spheres that he will review include divergent source radiometry and photometry, imager test and calibration, display measurements and the measurement of the optical properties of materials.
