Sets for arabidopsis, Candida albicans, Caenorhabditis elegans, and Drosophila melanogaster genomes in addition to human, mouse, rat, yeast, tuberculosis, and malaria
Qiagen Operon is continually developing new Array-Ready Oligo Sets for differential gene expression analysis and now adds the arabidopsis, Candida albicans, Caenorhabditis elegans, and Drosophila melanogaster genomes to its existing product line (human, mouse, rat, yeast, tuberculosis, and malaria).
The Arabidopsis, C albicans, C elegans, and Drosophila Genome Oligo Sets contain 70mer probes representing 26,090, 6266, 7125, and 14,593 well-characterised genes and/or open reading frames (ORFs), respectively.
The 70mer probes developed by Qiagen Operon combine the sensitivity of cDNA and the specificity of oligos for reliable and accurate gene expression data.
Strict quality control procedures ensure high-quality probes.
Each 70mer probe is designed to have maximal specificity for its target gene, while minimising cross-hybridisation to other genes. Additionally, each probe is melting-temperature normalised and contains a 5' amino linker, giving researchers the flexibility to select covalent or nonconvalent slide chemistry. Array-Ready Oligo Sets are now offered in a 384-well plate format at 600 or 1200 pmol, enabling researchers to choose the quantity required and save time by omitting a plate transfer step.
The Arabidopsis Genome Oligo Set contains 26,090 optimised 70mer probes plus 24 controls (designed from the UniGene Database Build At 4).
The C albicans Genome Oligo Set contains 6266 optimised 70mer probes plus ten controls (designed from the C albicans-predicted ORF Set Assembly 6).
The C elegans Genome Oligo Set contains 7125 optimised 70mer probes plus 12 controls (designed from the WormPep DNA Release 75 database).
The Drosophila Genome Oligo Set contains 14,593 optimised 70mer probes plus 24 controls.
Arabidopsis, C albicans, C elegans, and Drosophila genome sample oligo sets are also available.
Each set includes a sample of 96 optimised 70mers from the corresponding Array-Ready Oligo Set in a 96-well plate format at 600 pmol.
The sample set can be used to optimize experimental conditions prior to using the full Array-Ready Oligo Set.
