Rietschle enters the liquid ring vacuum pump market with a range of single and two-stage pumps, available in materials to suit almost any process use involving aggressive or corrosive vapours
Using cold water - or an alternative sealing fluid - to deliver oil-free gasses (dry or humid), the robust design of the Barracuda series allows them to handle contaminated or saturated vapours, or occasional slugs of liquid.
Barracuda V series pumps are close-coupled, single stage designs offering ultimate vacuum of 33 mbar(A), and a continuous, non-pulsating vacuum supply. Suction capacities range from 9.5m3/h on the smallest V6, up to 380m3/h on the largest model V430.
In effect, the V series offers the capacity of a single stage pump, with the ultimate vacuum normally only available from a two-stage pump.
The V series can be supplied in cast iron with a stainless steel or bronze impeller, or alternatively in all stainless steel.
Barracuda VH are long-coupled, two-stage, liquid ring vacuum pumps with separate motors.
They also offer ultimate vacuum of 33mbar(A), but with suction capacities ranging from 20 to 1590m3/h.
The VU series are long-coupled, single stage designs with an ultimate vacuum of 150 mbar(A), and suction capacities from 20 to 435m3/h. Both the VH and VU series are available in all bronze construction (with stainless steel shaft), or in the same choice of materials as the V series.
A range of accessories from suction non-return valves to discharge air-liquid separators is also available, in a choice of materials.
Rietschle can also supply complete vacuum packages to specific requirements: with higher vacuum levels and re-circulated seal systems with intercoolers, to reduce environmental load and water consumption.
