Incorporates a new drying gas system that creates a finer spray mist to permit highly sensitive analysis, particularly for low to medium polarity compounds
Shimadzu Scientific Instruments has introduced the new LCMS-2010A, which delivers unprecedented sensitivity for higher levels of throughput and productivity.
The optimal solution for an extensive range of applications in the pharmaceutical and environmental fields, the easy-to-operate LCMS-2010A incorporates a new drying gas system that creates a finer spray mist to permit highly sensitive analysis, particularly for low to medium polarity compounds.
Additional sensitivity-enhancing features include a new metal capillary ESI probe offering reduced adsorption and simplified maintenance and an improved skimmer. This improved design results in a cleaner, more easily maintained system with enhanced control of solvent adduct ions.
The ESI probe and unique low flow rate APCI probe, which supports 50µl/min applications, are supplied as standard.
Shimadzu's LCMS-2010A features the innovative ion optical system that consists of a unique Q-array design, high efficiency octopole lens, and high-performance hyperbolic quadrupole rod system to provide superb ion transmittance.
To maximise productivity, the software incorporates a multi-sequence mode of operation, enabling simultaneous data collection and up to 64 different combinations of experiments to be monitored within each analysis. Advanced functionality and LCMSsolution software simplify operation and enable reliable and maximum throughput.
The LCMS-2010A supports the SIL-HT autosampler (15 second injection cycle), which ensures near zero sample carryover and excellent repeatability.
Coupled with the LC-10ADvp pump the complete system enables pulse-free, accurate solvent delivery over the entire flow rate range.
