The series 9000 total temperature controller from Selerity Technologies is designed for precise temperature control and temperature programming for HPLC.
Mobile phase and column temperatures are accurately controlled from sub-zero to 200C at flow rates up to 10ml per minute with microbore to 4.6mm columns. The unique in-line pre-heater and pre-cooling components provide mobile phase to the column at pre-set temperatures for isothermal or temperature programmed control.
This reduces thermal mismatch between the mobile phase and the column stationary phase. Temperature programming at rates as fast as 30C per minute can virtually eliminate the need for solvent gradients.
To ensure safe operation, the series 9000 incorporates a flammable vapour sensor.
Column chamber and HPLC pump shut-down procedures are automatically initiated if flammable solvent vapors are detected within the controller chamber.
