Workstation for sample preparation and routine microscopy combines a digital stereo zoom microscope or biological research microscope with a micromanipulator
The new PrepScope II sample prep workstation launched by ST Japan-Europe is described as a unique concept for sample preparation and routine microscopy.
It combines a digital stereo zoom microscope or biological research microscope with a micromanipulator to support routine sample preparation and manipulation.
Samples can be examined and manipulated quickly and simply directly under the microscope.
The image, taken by a built-in 1/3" colour digital camera, can be readily transferred to a PC.
The system combines stereo zoom microscope (model 101) or research biological microscope (model 201), built-in high resolution 1/3" digital camera, micromanipulator with set of sampling tools, mechanical X/Y stage (with model 101) or coaxial control mechanical stage (with model 201), sophisticated and user-friendly imaging software, external fibre illumination (with model 201).
The workstations are designed specifically for a wide range of sample preparation applications in industrial research and quality control as well as microbiology, mineralogy and geology and forensic applications.
