Ability to move sample store is a key saving for customers, as down-time is typically only a few days, building work is kept to a minimum, and no expensive dismantling is required
When TTP LabTech fitted wheels to its Compound high-speed tube cherry-picking sample store, it anticipated that the stores would be moved only a few metres for service and support reasons. However, the self-contained and modular nature of Compound means that, this year, TTP LabTech has been asked to assist with the relocation of four Compound modules for customers, with another seven moves planned for next year.
Compound's modularity is proving of great value to customers who need to resite their labs as it can be easily relocated in response to business or process demands.
The ability to move their Compound store is a key saving for customers, as down-time is typically only a few days, building work is kept to a minimum, and no expensive dismantling of the system is required.
With today's changes in business markets, business unit reorganisations and company mergers, physical relocation of staff and facilities is often a major headache for hard-pressed management.
New centres of excellence often require consolidation of existing libraries whilst, on other occasions, libraries will be split up to provide distributed satellite storage.
Compound's flexibility helps with both scenarios as it fits into a standard laboratory and its built-in refrigeration means no special building or services are required.
TTP LabTech's Compound sample store offers proven speed and reliability, having been in marketplace for over two years.
