Designed for easy, on-site measurement of sulphur hexafluoride SF6 in the 0-10 parts per million (ppm) concentration range with resolution to 0.01ppm
A new portable, mid-infrared specific vapour analyser, designed for easy, on-site measurement of sulphur hexafluoride (SF6), has been introduced by Wilks Enterprise.
The new InfraRan specific vapour analyser provides on-site real-time measurements of SF6 in the 0-10 parts per million (ppm) concentration range with resolution to 0.01ppm.
The analyser is said to be ideal for fume hood evaluations and determining airflow in ventilation systems, rooms and buildings.
The InfraRan has been designed to be a rugged, field portable instrument, weighing under about 8.2kg.
It is said to be ideal for both on-site survey studies and laboratory analyses.
The analyser is factory calibrated for SF6, and operation is user-friendly via menu-driven software enabling non-technical personnel, as well as certified industrial hygienists, to obtain easy, accurate measurements.
InfraRan specific vapour analyser has a internal rechargeable battery for up to eight hours of continuous field use, or it can be operated from a 110/220V power source.
