Range of resin-bound reagents features a larger bead size for faster draining and the macroreticular nature offers efficient reaction kinetics
Polymer Laboratories has launched a series of high specification, economic macroreticular (MR) solid supported reagents as part of its StratoSpheres scavenger resin product range.
This new range of resin-bound reagents is based on a high quality large pore volume, high load MR base resin.
This features a larger bead size for faster draining and the macroreticular nature offers efficient reaction kinetics for economic solution phase applications, from analytical to process scale.
The StratoSpheres MR product range features PL-BH4 MR resin, a polymer supported borohydride for reduction of carbonyl compounds, PL-BH3CN MR resin, a polymer supported cyanoborohydride ideal for solution phase reductive amination, PL-CO3 MR resin, a polymer supported carbonate for base quenching and scavenging of acids and acidic phenols, PL-HCO3 MR resin, a polymer supported hydrogen carbonate suitable for acid neutralization and TFA removal and PL-SO3H MR resin, a polymer supported sulphonic acid for scavenging of amines and catch and release applications.
Along with StratoSpheres microporous and macroporous (MP) scavengers and resin-bound reagents, PL says its MR product range offers high quality, affordable chemistry.
