Specific vapour analyser provides on-site real-time measurements of nitrous oxide in the 0-100 parts per million (ppm) concentration range with resolution of less than 1ppm
A portable, mid-infrared specific vapour analyser, designed for easy, on-site measurement of nitrous oxide, has been introduced by Wilks Enterprise.
The new InfraRan specific vapour analyser provides on-site real-time measurements of nitrous oxide in the 0-100 parts per million (ppm) concentration range with resolution of less than 1ppm.
The analyser is said to be ideal for use in hospital operating and recovery rooms, as well as dental offices to help safeguard against personnel being exposed to potentially high levels of nitrous oxide which may have a toxic effect.
The InfraRan has been designed to be a rugged, field portable instrument, weighing about 8kg.
It is ideal for both on-site survey studies and laboratory analyses.
The analyser is factory calibrated for nitrous oxide and operation is user-friendly via menu-driven software enabling non-technical personnel, as well as certified industrial hygienists, to obtain easy, accurate measurements.
InfraRan has a internal rechargeable battery for up to eight hours of continuous field use or it can be operated from a 110/220V power source.
