Mastercycler EP from Eppendorf is a high precision, user-friendly thermal cycler offering extremely fast heating and cooling for automated PCR in as little as 40 minutes.
As an online simulation shows, intuitive graphic programming makes the control panel quick and simple to operate.
Rowan Maulder, Eppendorf UK general manager, highlights a further advantage of the Mastercycler EP: "Novel electronic sample protection (ESP) technology prevents the heated lid from touching sample tubes during heating, and automatically adjusts tube height.
"So, preheating of the sample is prevented, condensation is eliminated, and non-specific annealing is minimised - leading to accurate and reproducible PCR".
Even with a large number of users and over 700 PCR programs stored, the Mastercycler EP control panel allows less experienced operators to set up the device quickly and safely, says Eppendorf.
