The latest issue of Oxoid's microbiology journal Culture is now available
Oxoid has been publishing the journal twice a year for the past 25 years and it has become a much-respected peer-reviewed journal.
The latest issue (Vol 26, No 1) includes 'Ultra-violet Sterilisation of Food Packaging' by W M Waites, emeritus professor of food microbiology, University of Nottingham, UK and K Warriner, assistant professor in food safety, University of Guelph, Ontario, Canada.
'The Recovery of Stressed Bacteria' by P J Stephens, R and D manager, Oxoid, UK discusses the effects of stress on bacteria, the manifestations of injury, the optimisation of culture media for resuscitation and viable, but non-culturable cells.
