Oxoid is holding its third annual Food Seminar Day on the 19 September 2005 at Campden and Chorleywood Food Research Association (CCFRA), based in Chipping Campden, Gloucestershire, UK.
Delegates will hear a variety of speakers talking on a range of diverse topics.
Among the presentations are: 'The New EU Microbiology Criteria' (Judith Hilton, Foods Standards Agency); 'Review of the Re-issued ISO17025 Laboratory Quality Standard' (Christina Oscroft, CCFRA); 'Uses and Abuses of Culture Media' (Elaine Nichols, Oxoid); and 'Using Proficiency Data (Philip Smith, Quality Management)'.
During the day there will be a short presentation on Oxoid's latest products for the food laboratory.
The event will draw to a close with a presentation by Debra Wielkopolska on how Westward Laboratories faced many challenges to become the 2004/2005 Oxoid Laboratory of the Year.
The 2004/2005 Oxoid Food and Brewing Award winners will received their prizes after the final presentation.
