PerkinElmer introduced key technologies in cellular screening and reagents at the Society for Biomolecular Screening (SBS) 11th Annual Conference and Exhibition in Geneva, Switzerland, 11-15 September 2005.
The company showcased its LumiLux uHTS system, saying it represented a breakthrough in the time, cost and performance barriers that have prevented meaningful productivity and quality advances in live cell screening.
The company also introduced its Lance Camp assay that moves GPCR functional screening - the largest therapeutic drug discovery area - solidly into the uHTS arena, a high-growth market segment.
Also, the company's new Proxiplate 384 drives increased lab productivity with optimum sensitivity levels.
The new systems are designed to increase customers' productivity and advance drug discovery research and results.
