This multi-channel swivel (product number 72-6134) has four low dead-volume channels for dual-probe microdialysis, plus a 22-gauge channel for sampling or infusion.
Torque reduction is accomplished by an advanced, motor assisted drive.
A controller senses the rotation demanded by the tether, and a small motor senses the tension and drives the swivel core to release rotational tension.
Ultimately, the torque is reduced to that of a single channel swivel.
