Three different courses, all credited by IBMS, are offered at its fully equipped training facilities in Farnborough, Hampshire.

Opportunities to manipulate and scan a protein gel, a urine gel and a serum immunofixation are given.
Basics of scanning densitometry and Phoresis software, including gel positioning and handling, manipulation of scanning, editing curves and paraprotein quantification are covered.
Users gain experience of configurating reports and handling database storage and search facilities and QC functions, including Levey-Jennings charts.
A separate one day course for Phoresis is offered as an alternative for those already familiar with Hydrasys and Hydraplus.
Training for Capillarys covers the basics of the new generation capillary electrophoresis technology.
Practical sessions allow users to run samples and controls and manipulate the resulting data including editing of curves and paraprotein quantification.
Demonstrations and practicals on immunotyping and interpretation of results provide ample opportunity for customers to familiarise themselves with this latest technology.
