As a direct consequence of the PAC384-campaign, Bruker has launched a new target plate with a design of 96 sample spots and 24 calibration spots, dedicated for low to medium throughput applications
Bruker Daltonics has congratulated Nisse Kalkkinen, laboratory director Protein Chemistry Research Group and Core Facility Institute of Biotechnology from the University of Helsinki, Finland, on winning a Canon Ixus 40 digital Camera in its ' the Prespotted AnchorChip' campaign.
Bruker Daltonics also thanked all other participants for joining its campaign, testing the PAC, and submitting much positive feedback and useful information.
The company provided some of its participants' opinions and statements about the Prespotted AnchorChip, as extracted from their responses to the PAC384 campaign:.
"excellent product".
"Very useful for high-throughput applications".
"PAC technology offers a powerful tool for easy and reproducible sample preparation".
"fits perfectly to proteomics applications".
" presence of calibration spots Prespotted on the plate is very practical".
" mandatory for validated workflows".
" highly reliable".
"Reproducibility of the analyses is one of the most important advantages of the PAC plate".
" work very well on low abundance samples".
" compatible with sample preparation robotics".
"You can directly archive samples on the PAC target, even with amounts in the sub-femto-molar range".
"We observe that samples can be stored on the plate at least for a few weeks without any significant loss of quality and signal intensity".
"PAC is an easily handled good new product with high sensitivity and reproducibility".
"In general your new product is very attractive for our LC-Maldi analyses".
"We found this plate useful also for MS/MS analyses, it behaved very well, comparably to steel target plates".
"Good signal intensities and reproducible results".
"A useful concept of disposable target plates".
" supports nano-LC-Maldi Tof/Tof workflow".
As a direct consequence of the successful PAC384-campaign, Bruker Daltonics has launched a new target plate, the PAC96.
With a design of 96 sample spots and 24 calibration spots, the target is dedicated for low to medium throughput applications and is available at a reasonable price also.
