Nanopositioning specialist PI introduces a new, affordable high-performance, modular controller for piezo-driven nanopositioning systems
The E-621.CR controller boasts high-bandwidth analogue and networkable digital interfaces.
This high-performance controller integrates a low-noise piezo power amplifier, a high-speed servo controller and sensor electronics for absolute-measuring capacitive nanopositioning sensors.
For exceptional position stability and resolution, precision 20-bit A/D and D/A converters are incorporated.
Flexible: one to 12 axis configurations.
The E-621 can be operated as a stand-alone system or plugged into an available chassis with up to 12 slots for multi-axis applications.
The modular design allows for easy and cost-effective expansion by adding one additional channel at a time.
It is best suited for automated applications comprising several independent motion axes, such as XY line scans combined with nanofocusing devices.
Flexible: three different sensor types.
E-621 controllers are available in three versions, supporting piezo positioning systems with strain gauge sensors, inductive sensors and - for the for the most demanding applications - capacitive sensors.
