A horizontal rotor fully utilises the separation force generating a tighter gel line and providing more serum volume for the analyser probe, says Woodley
Introducing the new range of Clinispin horizon centrifuges from Woodley Equipment.
The Clinispin horizon 642E is a small six place, single speed horizontal spin centrifuge.
Its compact design has a footprint of 30cm2 and it weighs only 8.4kg.
The machine is cool running and features a selectable timer (1-30minutes).
Horizontal separation technology and patented rotor design at 3380rpm produce consistent spins ideal for the doctor's office or small laboratory.
Why horizontal separation?.
A horizontal rotor fully utilizes the separation force generating a tighter gel line and providing more serum volume for the analyzer probe, says Woodley.
Benefits of horizontal separation:.
Thicker and more compact gel pack prevents re-mixing even in rigorous shipping conditions.
Achieves 'straight line' results, easier for the lab techs to process samples.
More serum available in automated testing applications.
Allows for labs to do primary tube sampling.
Drastically reduces re-spins and re-draws by eliminating leaching in the samples.
Reduces processing times from 15 minutes per spin to 10 minutes.
Flat line results will not interfere with analyser probe.
Other models offered by Woodley Equipment are the 755VES, 842VES and 853VES all have a wide range of sample capacities.
They all feature variable speed, time and braking with ten memory settings for different centrifuge tasks.
Woodley Equipment is the official European distributor for the Clinispin horizon range of centrifuges is actively seeking distributors in Europe for these versatile centrifuges.
