DeltaNu reports that ACD/Labs's UVIR software for processing, interpreting, searching and managing Raman spectra will now be available for use with DeltaNu's Raman instruments
DeltaNu provides Raman spectrometers for educational institutions, industry and OEM.
The Inspector Raman is one of the world's first handheld, wireless spectrometers, which is used for reaction monitoring, material identification, forensics, earth sciences and nanotechnology.
The Advantage series are low cost and high performance bench top versions which are most popular in chemistry teaching and research labs.
ACD's UVIR Processor and Managers are part of SpecManager, the overall spectroscopic processing and data management software that unifies analytical data information of all types into a single interface.
Composed of three tightly integrated industry-leading modules, UVIR Manager provides the ability to manipulate and manage optical spectra in a continuous range from 1cm-1 to 100,000cm-1, while taking advantage of advanced chemical drawing and reporting features.
UVIR Processor provides an easy to use interface for peak fitting, baseline correction, analysis and interpretation of Raman spectra along with structure integration and reporting tools.
Michael Boruta, optical spectroscopy product manager at ACD/Labs, states: "We are pleased to be working with DeltaNu to make our software available to their customers".
"We believe Raman to be a growing market and DeltaNu to be a growing company with a need for independent third party software tools to analyze, interpret and manage data".
Keith Carron, president of DeltaNu, states: "We are pleased to be working with ACD/Labs to provide our customers with their excellent processing and interpretation tools".
"The ease with which you can annotate and interpret spectra, add structures and create reports makes their software a valuable addition to our instruments."
