GRI and Kreatech Biotechnology have announced a partnership whereby GRI will exclusively supply Kreatech's Universal Linkage System (ULS) solutions to laboratories in the United Kingdom and France
The partnership will expand access of Kreatech's innovative non-enzymatic nucleic acid labelling solutions to life science investigators in the UK and France.
The Universal Linkage System (ULS) is a platinum-based labelling technology that allows rapid labelling of fluorophores or haptens directly to biomolecules such as RNA, DNA and proteins.
Because ULS is a chemical labelling technology, complete control over the labelling process has been achieved.
The 'no need for enzymes' approach together with a controlled labelling makes the ULS labelling procedure very reproducible and robust.
ULS products are available with a variety of industry standard dyes, offering a versatile solution for labelling of RNA, DNA and Proteins in many applications.
"This agreement expands our reach by leveraging GRI's strong sales and marketing team in the UK and France" said Alexander Altink, Kreatech's CEO.
"We look forward to working with GRI and expanding our international distribution network which now covers 21 countries world wide including; USA (Open Biosystems), Japan (Funakoshi), Germany (Biocat) and the Benelux (BioKe).
Martin Biggs, marketing manager of GRI says, "We are extremely excited to represent Kreatech Biotechnology in both the UK and France.
"As labelling and detection of molecules is fundamental to our customer's research and their ultimate success.
"Kreatech's unique ULS labelling technology is the perfect fit to GRI's range of products".
