The air flows at a fixed flow rate against the agar surface of either the 60mm contact plate, or the standard 90mm plate.
The new patented design couples a unique pattern of the air channels with the slow turning plate.
This combination assures that the entire plate surface receives the same amount of air.
Further overlap of microorganisms falling to the same position on the petri-dish is greatly minimised.
The battery operated unit can be connected to a slave unit so that users can accurately sample real-time duplicates.
All units are available with a bar-code reader for easy tracking of plates, location and users.
Additionally, they are light weight, portable and adjustable for sampling at different angles.
