Due to their unique and patented magnetic suspension balance mass changes of a sample can be recorded even under extreme conditions with the utmost accuracy, including supercritical fluid and high pressure applications.
The systems are used in a variety of applications worldwide including sorption measurement, density measurement, and thermogravimetry.
BEL produces a range of volumetric sorption instrumentation for the understanding of particle characteristics.
Measurements possible include catalyst characterisation, chemisorption, specific surface measurement, porosimetry, metal dispersion and many others.
This range of instrumentation complements Merrow's range of Autoclave Engineers laboratory stirred reactors and high pressure vessels and other systems, it says.
