Ametek Calibration Instruments says its range of Jofra ITC dry block temperature calibrators now offers improved accuracy, stability and radial homogeneity (temperature variation between holes)
The Jofra ITC range features tghree models covering temperature ranges -23 to +155C (ITC-155), +33 to +320C (ITC-320) and +33 to +650C (ITC-650).
The Jofra ITC series offers exceptional price/performance.
It features a state of the art dual-zone heating block and MVI circuitry adapted from Ametek's premium ATC range of temperature calibrators.
The dual-zone heating block increases the temperature homogeneity in the critical calibration zone.
This minimises the need to insulate sensors-under-test and makes it possible to calibrate liquid-filled and other mechanical sensors.
MVI circuitry ensures stable temperatures even when the mains voltage is unstable.
The temperature stability has improved from +0.03C to +0.01C, for the ITC-155 and from +0.03C to +0.02C for the ITC-320.
Measurements are made over a 30 minute period, after the instrument's stability indicator has been on for 10 minutes.
Accuracy has improved by at least +0.05C across the instrument range as measured over a twelve month period using the built-in internal reference sensor.
Radial homogeneity is now +0.02C for the ITC-155 compared to the previous value of +0.03C while the specification for the ITC-320 has improved from +0.07C to +0.04C.
The ITC series of dry block calibrators is slim and rugged and is ideally suited to critical process control application.
The calibrators are designed for both on-site and maintenance shop use.
