SMI-LabHut's HPLC solvent degasser can degas up to five solvent lines simultaneously, and the low volume of each Teflon AF channel (480ul) offers quick equilibration and short start-up times.
The compact design of the degasser means it can fit easily onto any work surface.
Its footprint is less than 80mm wide and 250mm deep.
It also features the Zero Hysteresis Constant Run (ZHCR) stepper motor-driven vacuum pump, specifically designed and developed for membrane degassing of HPLC mobile phase.
The patented control process allows the degasser to maintain a virtually constant vacuum that is unaffected by varying degassing loads.
SMI-LabHut said the degasser prevents bubble formation in detectors and solvent mixing systems and also improves laboratory safety by preventing the escape of solvent vapours into the atmosphere that can sometimes occur with helium sparging.
As the degasser uses only mains power, there is no need for high pressure gas cylinders.
