Spectro Analytical Instruments has announced that it has produced and delivered its 30,000th spectrometer.
The Spectrotest mobile metal analyser with the serial tag 30,000 was purchased by Butting for incoming quality control testing.
Butting produces longitudinally welded tubes and tube accessories for the chemical and petrochemical industries, as well as for plant engineering.
Sven Lemken, manager of the materials laboratory at Butting, said: 'The new Spectrotest, with the special number, will be used for incoming inspection of sheet metal.'
