Adaptiveenergy has released a piezo actuator based on Ruggedized Laminated Piezo technology (RLP), which allows the actuator to achieve higher amplitudes than conventional piezo drives.
This guarantees greater operating reliability and improves the control properties of piezo pumps.
The RLP actuator is used in Schwarzer Precision's Piezo Liquid Pump SP 125 PZ-L.
The processor-based control mechanism controls the SP 125 PZ-L pumps in real-time in response to current system feedback.
The connection to the system controller can be made via UART or I2 interface.
Several PZ-Ls can be networked together and combined into an array of intelligent pumps.
The frequency and amplitude of self-suctioning PZ-L pumps can be controlled separately.
The wide range of voltage and frequency allows them to be tuned exactly to each customer's application.
Applications requiring flow rates up to 300 ml/min can benefit from the low power, long service-life and control characteristics of this new technology.
