Life-science products distributor 2BScientific and New Zealand-based Symansis have announced a marketing and logistics collaboration for Symansis's reagents for cell biology researchers.
This will include a European distribution and logistics centre that will aim to shorten the time taken for Symansis's European customers to receive their products.
The agreement also includes co-marketing of Symansis products in Europe; the products will continue to be sold via Symansis's existing distributor network, improving the service they receive.
2BScientific already supplies specialist immunological reagents including antibodies, flow cytometry and PCR to European life-science markets.
The deal with Symansis will see the company offer additional antibodies; assays, human cell expressed (HCX) proteins and tools for cell signalling research including inhibitors and multi-kinase Elisa assays.
The agreement will also see 2BScientific: promote Symansis training course and seminars; host roadshows across Europe; and jointly attend exhibitions and conferences with Symansis.
Additionally, the agreement allows both companies to offer customers enhanced service, expertise and product sourcing options.
