Kronlab has introduced very open column stands that provide easy access to the lower plunger, making it easy to remove the lower plunger for removal of the packing and cleaning the column.
Kronlab Glass Pilot columns are available as standard with diameters in the range of 100 to 450mm ID, in different lengths in either aqueous buffer or solvent-resistant versions.
In addition, users can now place a large collection vessel directly under the column to collect the used packing material.
Service and cleaning procedures, such as changing frits and O-rings, are now more easily performed with little effort.
All columns can be delivered with full FDA-certified wetted parts.
For standard lab applications, glass columns with diameters from 5 to 80mm and maximum pressure ratings of up to 80 bar (depending on internal diameter and construction) are available.
